Our week end was so busy that we haven't have the a chance food shopping almost 3 weeks. So today after work the hubby and I planned to shop. Winco Foods is our favorite store. The hubby always expresses how he loves to shop there because he said , it's like going to a international market with out paying the name brand foods. The store has very reasonable prices than the others and we buy and shop in bulk and lots of it. And I get to see my Pilipina friends who works there.
With five in the family it takes quite a bit of feeding. And we love to eat and I love to spoil everyone to a warm meal almost everyday. We like to eat fresh and warm food for breakfast and dinners. As the hubby says to me, a chief is in the house. LOL!
We usually get one month worth of non perishable and every 7 to 10 days of fresh fruits and veggies. In this way we do not have to do many trips to the store. And we manage to get by very nicely with our budget and we eat healthy. The hubby and I gets excited when we do the big shop.
There is very little in life more satisfying that a full pantry. Gives you that warm fuzzy feeling.
