My story is a risk..

"After reviewing our records, we've determined that your AdSense account poses a risk of generating invalid activity. Because we have a responsibility to protect our AdWords advertisers from inflated costs due to invalid activity, we've found it necessary to disable your AdSense account."

This was the message that  I received this morning from Google adSense team. I did not click any of my ads and I did not to my knowledge deliberately  generate invalid activity!

It is so discouraging that people like me who is in good conscience sharing my story and making what tiny money made through this ads make a such a threat to the giant company and corporation Google affiliation.. I can understand if I am receiving money by the thousands but for 2 to 5 dollars a day?  And to say that I am a risk for that amount is a far cry. I know many of my readers click ads but I never encourage that. But what can I say, I do not know how the system works and how they determine the risk that I supposedly generate.

What do you think I should do? In reading my blog as an advertiser of any kind, Do you see any threat written on it? What do they mean "poses a risk? It is mind baffling? Now I am feeling like my stories are to risky, what ever that means. And I am now having second thoughts to continue sharing..... HMMM...

  6. Please do continue. I enjoy what you have to say.

AND, this is why I've never ever been tempted to "monetize" my blog. Just don't even want the aggravation of them turning around one day and accusing me of being "up to something".
I back up my blog often enough that, if google craps out, I can easily switch to Wordpress. And google can go fly a kite.

  7. I would at least try to get a better response from them. There are other companies that you can use besides AdSense.

    Good luck!
