off to a farm

Today an adventure is taking place. The kids and I and grandma were invited to visit a Llama farm. And for some funny reason I can not picture what the animal looks like. What comes to mind is a sheep.
This morning we will see a two day old baby Llama and will be able to differentiate  the distinction between Sheep and Llama.
My desire to eventually have a goat is still in me and this is a great place to go and experience  what is like to be in a farm. Who knows I might like it and open up a petting zoo to substitute Google adsense income.. LOL!

6 PM
A tiny detour with no problem we arrived to our destination. A farm that I could not remember if it had a name! But now I can picture what Llama looks like. Llama is from a Camel family, I was told. And my children having fun with the Llamas. A couple who loved carrots and the rest preferred the grass.

We arrived back in Portland at 2 pm and we decided to check out Cinco de Mayo celebration at the water front here in Portland. A cloudy  and a bit chilly day for a beer but there were plenty of people out. We walk with the kids just on the outside of all the festivities and watch what was going on inside. Walk around the Saturday market and had an Elephant ears treat.

  1. Enjoy the llama farm and someday, visit an Alpaca Farm. I love Alpaca's. http://www.alpacatv.com/
