Good morning everyone! I tell you, the new blogger set up with easy schedule set up is working so good for me right now. I would not have written and be focus sharing this story to you of our adventure of having my princess because, right now I am sick. But since I know how to use blogger schedule, my story can continue..
Yesterday's post was the telling of hubby ultimatum, to leave now or not at all. I was in pain and angry for it was taking so long to pack! He did not want to mess with a pregnant and dilated wifey. He changed gear and pack our Toyota Tercel as much stuff instead of the trailer and we set of. We had our hot water, floss and scissors and our Doctors advise for the emergency delivery...
It was cold and and rainy when we left. Well it's winter and one last chance to have a baby in Mexico, preferably Aticama. The hubby was so tired, but he drove and with many energy drink he can take. Red Bull came handy! He took a big nap before we hit the mountain between Oregon and California, which was the first place that it was not as wet. I did not mind it, we were on the road. And he surely needed it. I can't drive ans will not drive with my condition! I was still nervous. We drove none stop almost to Phoenix for a day . Lightning strike fast for as slog of a traveler we are. we are in a mission to cross the Border and any place father is gravy. I felt better as we head down South, the warmer I get less contraction , then boom a car in front of us blow up in smoke. The hubby announce that the vehicle blow up his engine while on the highway, Then I panic, we hope to stop for a break in Phoenix at a fiends house but I said, No stop. I am afraid that was sign. Lets move forward. Cross the border tonight. My poor hubby did it, and continued on. We reach the border at night all the way to the 17 miles Aduana Immigration post/line. The office of stop to get your official permit to enter the country of Mexico. It was in the middle of the night and they were close until 6 am the following day that time . There was a hotel not far from there, he decided to spent the money and get a nice sleep and a comfy place for me to rest as well. TV for the kids room to jump around and good hot showers for everyone. Everyone agreed happily.. Hubby order delicious dinner for me which I enjoyed very much. Then for some reason the contractions was less. I was a bit more comfy, because I know in my heart that if the baby decided to come out we are across the border and we are in Mexico. The thought of being there is now a reality. So now the question is can we have the Icing on the cake? Can we make it to Aticama? Can she Kawena May Ruth wait?Be in Aticama?
